Where to Find the Model and Serial Number on a Sears Craftsman Snow Blower
So you need to look up your Craftsman snow blower, but you can't find the model and serial number! Well, we're here to help. Here are a couple of common locations that you can find this information.
One of the most common locations of the model and serial number on a Craftsman snow blower is on the back of the machine. Stand behind the unit and lean down -- you should be able to see the ID tag underneath the handles, in between the two wheels. Please see the gray arrow above as a guide.
Alright, this is a single stage Craftsman snow blower. The model and serial number are in a similar location to the two-stage snow blower, look underneath the handle and in between the two wheels. See the gray arrow above for reference.
To look up Tecumseh parts, you'll need to have your model number and spec number. On this particular Craftsman with a Tecumseh engine, the model and spec are located under the rear axle. You may need to lift the back of the snow blower up or remove the lower housing to see the sticker.
You'll need the model and spec numbers. Use our Tecumseh parts lookup to find any parts you may need for your engine!
