Repairing a cracked base?

A common misconception is that if your pump leaking from in-between the PA block and the sump base? A common mis-conception when repairing snow plow pumps is: leaks typically come from valves. In reality, most leaks come from a crack in the sump base. This typically happens when water is allowed to freeze inside the pump. This is one of the major reasons why it's recommended to change your plow fluid at least once a year.

Whether the crack is barely visible or very obvious there is no way to fix the crack other than replacing the base. Browse our genuine replacements and return your pump to its original glory!
